Myan Colatat

Head Instructor / Owner

Myan started training in martial arts at a young age and is now an experienced striker and avid grappler with black belts in multiple disciplines. As an Army Veteran, he understands the value of service and giving back to the community. His love of martial arts and passion for sharing his knowledge with others inspired him to open Garuda Martial Arts.

Tae Kwon Do 

  • 4th Degree Black Belt, Kukkiwon, South Korea

  • Rutgers University Tae Kwon Do Club Head Coach and Team Captain (2005-2008)

  • Chang Moo Kwan Tae Kwon Do Certified Instructor

  • Competed at local, national, and collegiate levels (1999-2008)

Tammy Colatat

Assistant Instructor / Owner

Like Myan, Tammy also began her martial arts career early in life. She was a high school wrestler and achieved the rank of black belt in karate. Also an Army Veteran, she continues developing her martial arts skills while promoting women's fitness and self-defense.
