Service Description

Our curriculum focus on Japanese Kodokan Judo as taught by the Jigoro Kano the founder of Judo. Judo techniques consist of standing throws, grappling, submissions, pins, and is an effective martial art, self-defense system, and Olympic sport. Our classes are taught in a group setting, but private classes are available upon request. The students range from children with special needs and senior citizens, to high school, home school and collegiate athletes. Sensei Myan is a Shodan in Judo. He studied under late prominent high dan Judo masters like Yoshisada Yonezuka and Nagayasu Ogasawara and received his black belt from the Princeton Judo Club under Cory Cuomo. We welcome and accommodates any student willing to commit and persevere, regardless of athletic ability. We are a United States Judo Federation registered club that awards students both national and internally ranks in Judo. We are the only USJF school located in near Northern Delaware.
